snow shoeing, ice skating for the coordinated, ice fishing for the thermally challenged. Make a Snowman. Snowmobiles are fun too! When you come back to the Inn, pause a moment before coming in to the fire and look up. The stars seem a lot closer from 2400 feet.

But it's Summer you say? (In Vermont it's called Summa, but nevermind) Hiking, Trout fishing, horse riding are all here. Visit a Farmers market and learn what a Tomato is supposed to taste like. Or visit a Farmer! Swim in a lake or a river or lay down in a wildflower meadow and watch the clouds. If you are here on the first weekend in June go to Brattleboro. Y ear around there is plenty going on. Of course everybody shops, whether it is the Manchester outlets or the art galleries. Visit an artisan cheese making operation (Hint: it's not just about Cheddar). Want some wine with your cheese? There are lots of wineries in Vermont as well as three of the top 100 microbreweries in the country.
